In the biblical context, a disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ who actively model themself based on His life and teaching. A disciple is more than a student, because Jesus is more than a teacher. A disciple's identity, worldview, and way of life are shaped by following Jesus.

I have chosen the best Scripture that answers the statements from either the NIV, NKJV or NLT translations. This teaching has over two hundred and fifty Scriptures divided into 13 foundational lessons, including 3 2-part lessons equaling 16 lessons in total. These 16 lessons will help you build a rock-solid foundation (Matthew 7:24), to build on and live out the rest of your life.
